Q: How do we retain the creative services of MUSE Bride? 

A: A non-refundable retainer is required. 

 

Q: Is the retainer applied to the total photography price?

A: Yes.

 

Q: Do you travel to weddings on the outer islands, the mainland, and other countries?

A: Yes, we have covered weddings and events on all of the Hawaiian Islands, in most of the major metropolitan areas of North America, as well as internationally in Mexico, Italy, Scotland, South Korea, Japan, Hong Kong, China, South East Asia, and Australia.

 
 
 

PRICING & MY THOUGHTS ON PHOTOGRAPHY PACKAGES

Q: Do you have set wedding photography packages?

A: No we don’t. Our views on wedding photography pricing is very simple and founded on two of our core beliefs:

  • We believe that each of my Client stories is unique.

  • We believe that each of my Client weddings is unique

Because of these core beliefs, we offer a fixed per-hour pricing model rather than a series of photography packages. Every hour of photography includes the following:

  • 100 ~ 200 images per hour (final edited image count per hour may vary).

  • All images edited and professionally color graded and post-produced

  • Final images are accessible via a shared Dropbox folder and flash drive.

  • Copyright co-ownership for all images, photo release and reprinting rights.

  • 2~4 week production turn around time for all weddings images.

POST-PRODUCTION & DELIVERY

Q: What is the post-production & delivery process for your wedding photography?

A: It takes 14 ~ 30 business days for the me to get a Client’s edited, color graded and retouched image selections back to them. All of our Client wedding images are sent on flash drives and uploaded to secure shared folders in the cloud, or for additional cost, delivered via custom client websites.

 

ALBUMS, PRESENTATION BOXES & CUSTOM PRINTS

Q: Do you offer wedding albums, presentation boxes, and prints?

A: Yes, we do offer handmade leather bound MUSÉE albums and Q Pro Shadow Box Frames from Queensberry of New Zealand. For a more unique touch, we also offer exquisite signature matted albums and folios from Loktah of North America.

Please note that while we do offer these post-wedding \ event services, doing so also increases the final production and delivery costs for each of our Client’s weddings substantially.

 

IMAGE COPYWRIGHT

Q: What is MUSE Bride’s image copyright policy?

A: We have set up my image copyright policy in a very simple way: our IP holding company owns the copyright to all photographic images created at a Client wedding or event. Our IP holding company then grants all wedding MUSE Bride Clientele the right to share, produce prints, albums gifts, and other derivative products, royalty free in perpetuity.
