An elegant and tropical-themed wedding at the Four Seasons Resort Koele Lodge Lanai.

Makani and Dean’s wedding celebration at the Four Season Resort Koele Lodge on the island of Lanai was the start of my journey as a wedding photography. For those of us who were lucky enough to attend as a guest (and vendor), you know the story. This wedding was one for the ages. This was the first wedding for Yvonne Design ~ a new floral designer from Seattle who just moved to Hawaii. Her use of monochromatic tropicals set the trends of the time and she continues today. My second photographer Jon is now the owner and principal photographer of one of the most successful photo agencies in Hawaii. Jeannette the key make up and hair artist was in Hawaii after leaving MAC Cosmetics as their media artist. Jeannette is now owner and principal designer of Alohilani Weddings.
