Inside a lush greenery-filled Hawaiian wedding at the beautiful Maleana Gardens on East Oahu.

Alla and Jay’s wedding was the first one I covered at the beautiful Maleana Gardens in the Kailua \ Lanikai Beach area of Windward Oahu. I had done numerous bridal editorials at this venue but never a wedding. After a beautiful ceremony overseen by Kahu Lahela, portraits at Maleana Gardens, we all drove to Waikiki to the Outrigger Canoe Club for Alla and Jay’s reception ~ the best of both worlds: beautiful gardens, white sand beaches on the Windward side of the island; then a perfect winter sunset on the Southern side of the island.
